What is the Elmhurst CRC Day of Giving?

Elmhurst CRC Day of Giving is a 24-hour online giving campaign that supports the ministries and mission of Elmhurst CRC. It’s the capstone to the ECRC Celebrate Ministries Week. The goal of the Day of Giving is to bring our community together, celebrate our collective power, and transform more lives through our shared generosity. The focus of the day will be rallying all members and friends of Elmhurst CRC to make a gift on June 6.

How can I make a gift?

Give online: at celebrate.elmhurstcrc.org anytime.

Give by phone: call 630.600.5072, for Mimi Stanton, Executive Director, we’d love to hear from you!

Give by check: Don't want to wait to give online or over the phone? You can still participate and make an impact. Mail your check to Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church and in the comment section, please note: ECRCCelebrateMinistries.

Is there a minimum donation amount?

No, gifts of any size are equally appreciated! We hope for 100% participation from our congregation. Thank you for partnering with our entire church community to make an impact for the kingdom.

Can I make a recurring gift?

Yes, you can help our ministries plan for future outreach by selecting “recurring gift” as gift type.

How does my gift make a difference?

Gifts of any size to the Elmhurst CRC Day of Giving make a difference by providing opportunities for more ministry work to happen locally and abroad. We’ll be tithing (tenth or 10%) on all gifts to help Emmanuel, a 10-year-old amputee from Venezuela, receive a prosthetic leg so he can run!

We're partnering with Grace and Peace (GAP) Christian Reformed Church and their GAP Community Center for our Community Event - SORT STACK SERVE. 10-year-old Emmanuel is a little boy who's connected with the GAP Community Center and is a Venezuelan refugee and leg amputee since the age of four. We'll be providing funding for Emmanuel to get a prosthetic leg so he can run!

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes. Contributions to support the ministries of Elmhurst CRC and little Emmanual through Grace and Peace CRC are tax-deductible, as allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your donation.

How can I stay up to date on what's happening?

Visit celebrate.elmhurstcrc.org! As we get closer to June 6, you will be able to read about the different challenges and learn more about ways to get involved. On June 6, you can track live progress, see how much has been donated, and more. Most importantly, you will be able to see the collective impact of so many people giving at the same time!
